Game Settings
In this section, the driver can automatically detect installed games. If a game is not detected automatically, you can manually add it. Individual settings can be configured for each game.
Graphics Settings
The graphics panel provides three preset modes with one-click switching: Performance, Quality, and HYPR-RX Eco (Power Saving). Custom settings are also supported, as shown below.
In the control panel, you can manually adjust the following options under Graphics Settings:

Radeon™ Super Resolution [Enabled]
Referred to as RSR. This is a driver-level upscaling technology that allows games to run in fullscreen at desktop resolution. Supported only on RX 5000 series and newer GPU architectures. -
Radeon Anti-Lag [Enabled]
Reduces input latency (the effect may not be very noticeable in practice). -
Radeon Boost [Disabled]
Dynamically lowers game resolution during fast motion to improve performance. -
Radeon Chill [Disabled]
Saves power and reduces heat by lowering GPU usage during inactivity. Frame rates drop when idle and instantly rise during gameplay. If enabled, you can set minimum and maximum FPS. -
Radeon Image Sharpening [Enabled]
Enhances image clarity and detail. A default value of 70%–80% is recommended. -
Radeon Enhanced Sync [Disabled]
An alternative vertical sync method that reduces screen tearing and latency. Suitable for FreeSync and fixed refresh rate displays. Recommended to keep disabled, especially on low-end systems.

Wait for Vertical Refresh [Disabled]
Traditional V-Sync. Disable it for FPS games. Enable it for games that require smoother visuals to eliminate screen tearing. -
Frame Rate Target Control [Disabled]
Limits peak FPS to a stable value. Similar to Chill but allows more precise FPS control. -
Anti-Aliasing [Use Application Settings]
Smooths jagged edges in graphics, making edges appear more natural. -
Anti-Aliasing Method [Multisampling]
MSAA, a traditional anti-aliasing method implemented at the hardware level, offering relatively good performance efficiency. -
Morphological Anti-Aliasing [Disabled]
An alternative edge-smoothing technique. When enabled, it may cause models and text edges to appear blurry. -
Anisotropic Filtering [Enabled]
Improves texture quality at the cost of minimal performance loss. Recommended to enable at higher levels.

Texture Filtering Quality [Performance]
Affects visual quality in games. Performance mode is recommended for better FPS. -
Surface Format Optimization [Enabled]
Improves performance by using optimal texture formats with minimal visual impact. Recommended to enable together with texture filtering quality. -
Tessellation Mode [Override Application Settings]
Enhances object detail by increasing polygon count during rendering. -
Maximum Tessellation Level [8x / 64x]
Higher values provide more detail but require more GPU performance. -
OpenGL Triple Buffering [Disabled]
Used with OpenGL applications as an alternative to V-Sync. Recommended to disable. -
10-Bit Pixel Format [Disabled]
Enable only if your monitor supports 10-bit color. Provides buffer support for compatible displays and OpenGL applications. Not compatible with HDR. -
Reset Shader Cache
Clears the cached shader data generated by the driver.

Display Settings

AMD FreeSync [Enabled]
Helps reduce latency and screen tearing. Requires a FreeSync-compatible display. Disable if screen flickering occurs. -
Virtual Super Resolution [Disabled]
Allows applications to run at resolutions higher than the native display resolution (essentially display resolution overclocking). Recommended to disable. -
GPU Scaling [Enabled]
Scales lower-resolution games or applications to fit the full screen. Recommended for high-resolution displays. -
Scaling Mode [Full Panel]
Adjusts how the image is displayed on the screen. Full Panel provides fullscreen display with clearer visuals. -
Color Depth
Select the color depth that matches your display. Higher values require monitor support. -
Pixel Format
Determines how display images are encoded. Default settings are recommended. -
Display Color Enhancement
Built-in profiles that enhance clarity and color vibrancy. Can improve overall brightness and color in games. Enable based on GPU performance.
